Rikki is a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. As the sports dietitian for Coach Shaw’s Program, she works with current NFL players as well as top NFL draft hopefuls, helping meet their demanding nutrient needs as they are preparing for the combine and/or pro days. Rikki educates the athletes on optimal daily fuel and hydration requirements, nutrient timing and supplementation.

She has provided nutritional counseling and guidance to medical patients/clients and athletes for over 10 years. Rikki earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University (FSU), where she also worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the FSU women’s athletic department. She earned her master’s degree from Central Michigan University. Rikki has earned certification through the American Dietetics Association as a Sports Dietitian (CSSD) and Nutrition Support Dietitian (CNSD), and through the International Society of Sports Nutrition as a Sports Nutritionist (CISSN).

Currently, Rikki owns a private practice, Fuel & Fluids for Performance, LLC, working with athletes at various levels (recreational, high school, collegiate, Olympic, and professional) in a variety of sports utilizing optimal nutrition for peak performance. In addition, Rikki is a faculty member at the University of Alaska-Anchorage (UAA), she teaches Nutrition for the Health Sciences, Principles of Nutrition and Sports Nutrition. She is also employed as a clinical dietitian at Alaska Regional Hospital providing medical nutrition therapy to a variety of patients.
